 Endoscopy
The Abu Dhabi Falcon Hospital features two advanced endoscopy units where the procedure can be conducted simultaneously with digital recording facility. Endoscopy aids in early diagnosis of diseases like Aspergillosis and Serratospiculum worm infestations and also in sexing of birds. The digital recording facility helps in record keeping and future referencing of the patient’s previous files as digital video database. In order to achieve highest customer satisfaction, the ADFH has the facility to transmit live endoscopic images to the bird’s owner in the waiting room.
 Advanced surgery
ADFH has a state-of-the-art surgery unit that offers surgical services ranging from simple soft-tissue surgery (surgery for keel injuries, surgery for other soft tissues like wing and leg injuries and bumble foot surgery) to complex orthopedic surgery for fractures and dislocations etc. At the ADFH the birds are in safe professional hands when dealing with complex orthopedic and surgical problems.
Intensive care
ADFH has an Intensive Critical Care Unit (ICCU) with facilities for providing intensive care to multiple birds at the same time. The high-tech equipment like special warming machines with oxygen supply increases the survival chances of the birds. Our ICCU ensures that the birds suffering from life-threatening conditions are monitored efficiently and closely. To enhance the patients’ chances of survival, the ICCU provides the most specialized intensive medical support possible.
