  • Large clinical examination room with multiple, advanced anesthetic equipment where minor procedures like application of bandages, blood sampling, imping and coping can be done.
  • Large modernized surgery with the latest equipments for endoscopy and soft tissue surgery. It also has the facilities for digital recording of endoscopic videos. At ADFH we use the latest orthopedic instruments for fracture surgery. We also have an advanced patient monitoring apparatus with facilities for monitoring patient blood pressure, ECG and oxygen perfusion. 
  • Radiography unit is well equipped with an appropriate X-Ray machine and a couple of fully automated radiograph developing apparatus. The professional handling of the radiography unit ensures maximum safety to our patients as well as the personnel working in the unit.
  • Additional endoscopy unit with digital recording facility for fast and efficient endoscopic work where large numbers of patients are queuing for endoscopy. The endoscopic video can be transmitted live to the bird’s owner in the waiting room.
  • A state-of-the-art Intensive Critical Care Unit is unique to ADFH with facilities for attending four critically ill birds in separate rooms at the same time. The unit is equipped with the latest critical patient supporting apparatus and is extremely useful for close monitoring of our critical patients.
  • Unique and highly modern ophthalmology unit with the latest equipments and instruments that are used to diagnose diseases of the avian eye.
  • Separate Falcon Pox unit with thermo-cautery apparatus and other equipments to treat cases of Avian Pox. This also ensures that the birds suffering from Avian Pox do not come in contact with other healthy birds or equipments used for other healthy birds.
  • Individual in-patient rooms for keeping up-to 60 falcons at a time in addition to the moulting and quarantine facilities at the hospital. The in-patient ward rooms are specially designed to suit the needs of individual sick birds and their special requirements.
  • Newly built quarantine with a capacity to house more than 40 falcons at the same time. This facility is being used to isolate sick birds suffering from contagious diseases as well as to quarantine falcons newly brought into the emirate of UAE.
  • Two large free-flight cages/aviaries for moulting of falcons. There are also 8 smaller free- flight moulting rooms for moulting of falcons under medical supervision in a scientific manner. The moulting facilities can accommodate up to 70 falcons.
